My Silhouette
Let's get your measurements right.
Enter your measurements once and we'll recommend the standard size and inseam to order. And if you choose Made to Measure, we'll craft your piece to these exact numbers.

Before you start
1
Wear fitted clothing — or measure over underwear. Loose clothes will add centimetres.
2
Use a soft measuring tape — keep it snug but not tight. You should be able to fit one finger underneath.
3
Stand naturally — don't suck in or puff out. Your clothes should fit your real body.
4
Ask someone to help — especially for back measurements. It makes a real difference.
Units
For your trousers
These five measurements are everything we need to make your trousers fit perfectly.
HeightRequired
cm
Stand barefoot against a wall.
Place a book flat on top of your head touching the wall. Mark the wall, then measure from the floor to the mark.
Tip: Measure in the morning — you're slightly taller.
WaistRequired
cm
At the narrowest part of your natural waist.
Usually about 2–3 cm above your belly button. Bend to one side — where your body creases is your natural waist.
Tip: Breathe normally, don't hold your breath.
HipRequired
cm
Around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
Stand with feet together. Wrap the tape around the widest point — usually about 20 cm below your waist. Keep the tape parallel to the floor.
InseamRequired
cm
From crotch seam to the floor, barefoot.
Stand straight, feet slightly apart. Measure from where the inner seam of trousers would sit, straight down to the floor.
Tip: This is the number that matters most for trousers that are finally long enough.
RiseRequired
cm
From crotch seam up to your natural waist.
Sit on a hard chair. Measure from the chair seat straight up to your natural waistline. This determines how trousers sit on your body.

For a better fit
Optional, but helps our tailors get the cut just right around your legs.
ThighOptional
cm
Around the fullest part of your upper thigh.
Stand with your weight evenly distributed. Measure around the widest point, just below where your leg meets your body.
KneeOptional
cm
Around the centre of your kneecap.
Stand with your leg straight and relaxed. Wrap the tape around the middle of your knee.
For future tops & dresses
We don't need these for trousers, but you can fill them now to be ready for our future tops and dresses.
BustOptional
cm
Around the fullest part of your bust.
Wrap the tape around your back and across the fullest point of your chest. Keep it parallel to the floor. Wear a non-padded bra.
Tip: Don't pull tight — the tape should sit, not squeeze.
Shoulder widthOptional
cm
From one shoulder edge to the other, across your back.
Feel for the bony point at the top of each shoulder. Measure straight across your back from one to the other.
Tip: This one's much easier with a friend helping.
Arm lengthOptional
cm
From shoulder point to wrist bone.
Bend your arm slightly. Measure from the bony top of your shoulder, down along the outside of your arm, past your elbow, to your wrist bone.
Tip: This is the measurement that matters most for sleeves that actually reach your wrists.
Back lengthOptional
cm
From the base of your neck to your natural waist.
Feel the bony bump at the base of your neck (where a necklace clasp sits). Measure straight down your spine to your waist.
Tip: Essential for tops and dresses that are the right length in the body — not just the hem.
